Meet Our Team
I have been working as an accountant in practice since 2006, where I first began my training contract. I stayed with my previous employer for 9 years and became a director after 7 years. I decided to take the leap and set up my own Chartered Accountancy Practice in April 2016. I have a real passion for being proactive and looking after clients the way they should be looked after. I want to ensure we do things in a modern way and customer service is the most important thing to me.
I have two sons, James and Teddy who take up most of my time. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym and staying healthy.
I am the Office Manager at Smooth Accounting. This is my second position since returning to work following a career break, and it has been lovely to work for such a warm, friendly, family centric company. Previously, I worked for 8 years in Financial Services in a variety of Administrative and Marketing positions. I spend the majority of my spare time chasing around after my two sons.
As an ACCA qualified accountant, I have worked in a number of accountancy practices, gaining significant experience, predominantly involving small to medium-sized businesses. I am passionate about my role as a client manager, as I love getting to know clients and their financial goals and aspirations. I am a big believer in the use of cloud softwares to create accounting efficiencies, meaning that our clients have more time to focus on their business. I also support our clients with their accounting, tax planning, bookkeeping and other compliance requirements. Outside of work, when not spending time with family and friends, I enjoy reading, travelling and collecting Irregular Choice shoes.
I am a qualified client manager at Smooth Accounting. Having gained experience in both industry and practice I developed a passion for tax after becoming a chartered accountant. I believe a key element of my role is getting to know my clients and understand how their businesses operate, allowing me to provide the best advice possible. In my spare time I enjoy playing squash, reading and spending time with family and friends.
After my children were born I moved into Accountancy Practice. I enjoy being able to remove the burden that small businesses have, in regards to statutory compliance, so owners can continue to do what they do best, running their business. I love getting to know clients, so that we become their ‘accounts function’, and that we can be at the end of a phone or email to offer help and advice at any time. I always said I didn’t want to be a ‘boring’ Accountant, and at Smooth Accounting, I think it’s safe to say I’m not and neither is anyone else!
Having embarked on a career change after having children, I recently qualified an ACCA qualified accountant. I’ve spent the last few years working in practice gaining a wide ranging skill set. I absolutely love my job, I particularly enjoy watching a client’s bright idea evolve into a thriving and successful business. It’s always a pleasure to get to know clients, to provide help and support and to be an integral part of their journey. Having recently finished studying, I now have plenty of time to indulge in my hobbies which include reading, running, archaeology and spending time with my family.
I am an Accounts Semi-senior at Smooth Accounting and I am MAAT Qualified. I have been working in industry for 8 years and completed my AAT qualification in 2018. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading and I have a passion in learning new things. I am very fortunate to be given the opportunity to join team Smooth whilst expanding my knowledge and skills, I will be doing this within a friendly and supportive team as I continue to study my ACCA.

Head of Digital Media
I’ve always enjoyed filming and editing content since the first time I ever used a camera, and I’m very excited to have the opportunity to transfer these skills to Smooth Accounting. Social media and video are constantly evolving so there will be always be something to learn. In my free time I enjoy listening to podcasts, stand up comedy and skateboarding.
PA to the Director
I am Jeri’s PA here at Smooth Accounting. Previously, I have worked as a Secretary in the NHS so I am from quite a different background! I feel very humble to have been given the opportunity to work here though and feel very much part of the team. In my spare time I like to help out the local beekeeper on Hayling Island, visiting friends and family, baking, watching films (horror films are my favourite) and going to concerts. I also have a huge interest in classic cars and have restored a few of my own over the past few years with my Dad and also love going to a racetrack to watch the British Touring cars race when I can.
Following the completion of my AAT Level 2 qualification at Chichester college in 2020 i joined the team at Smooth Accounting as an apprentice, my goal is to finish my AAT levels and train to become a fully qualified chartered accountant. I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to join the team and continue studying to expand my knowledge. When I'm not studying i enjoy going to the gym and swimming to keep an active lifestyle.
I am an apprentice at Smooth Accounting, studying my AAT level 2/3. My goal is to finish my AAT levels and then further train to complete my ACCA. I have a huge ambition to one day own my own accountancy practice. I am very thankful for this opportunity to further my knowledge and skills alongside studying. In my spare time I like spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy watching football.
